III - Applicable Functions

The following functionalities can be executed here.

Report

A >> elproMONITOR configuration report with all selected parameters is created.

The number of existing I/O modules, sensors, profiles and program settings determines the size (number of pages) of the configuration report created as *.pdf file.

Add new sensor

The details in the view are replaced by the following parameters for creating a new sensor:

General:

  • Sensor name
Name of the sensor for monitoring with elproMONITOR and for easy identification in the reports. The sensor must be provided with a unique name.

  • Sensor status
This is an information field that reflects the current state (Enabled / Disabled) of the sensor. This field cannot be changed. The sensor is activated / deactivated in the monitor manually or automatically during a calibration.

Connection:

  • I/O module
Selection list with the available I/O modules. The sensor must be assigned to one of these I/O modules.

  • I/O module channel
Selection list with all channels available at this I/O module. The sensor must be connected to one of these channels to receive its measured values. Only the channels that are still free are listed.

  • Associated digital output
Selection list with the names of the available digital outputs. The sensor activates a digital output directly in the event of an error. (e.g. of an ECOLOG-PRO 4DO).

The parameterized internal contacts of ECOLOG-NET loggers (Alarm 1 and Alarm 2) cannot be controlled by elproMONITOR.

Recording:

  • Recording interval
At a restart, the 1st measured value is recorded when the first full interval is reached.
The recording of the data is synchronous. All measured values and statuses are recorded simultaneously. The interval can be specified individually for each sensor. The intervals 1, 2, 3, 4 , 5, 6, 10, 12, 15, 20, 30 and 60 minutes are possible.
To correct the interval of an existing sensor, it must be deleted or decommissioned and then added again.

The recording interval cannot be changed subsequently.

The two channels of ECOLOG-PRO 1THR and 2TH are interleaved. Once one of them has been defined, no other recording interval can be selected for the other one.

  • Time control profile
With a >> time control profile, the sensor can be controlled time-dependently for monitoring by elproMONITOR. An already defined profile can be selected from this selection list.

Description:

  • Sensor ID
In addition to the sensor name, serves as a further parameter for identifying the sensor.

For digital sensors (e.g. ECOLOG-PRO 1THR) the sensor ID can also be read out from the sensor

  • Sensor note
Text field for entering sensor-related information.

Profile Set A and Profile Set B:

The profile sets are used to assign the following >> profiles.

  • Profile for alarms due to limit violations.

  • Profile for receiver in case of alarms

  • Profile for warnings due to limit violations.

  • Profile for receiver in case of warnings

  • Profiles for sensor malfunctions

  • Profiles for receivers in the event of sensor malfunctions.

With >> Time control profiles it is possible to switch between Set A (default) and Set B. This is used to switch between different alarm limits, warning limits, evaluated sensor faults and the corresponding receiver groups.

List of existing sensor groups to which the sensor can be added or from which it can be removed.

The sensor must be assigned to at least one sensor group by clicking the "Add" button.

  • Upper Limit Delay
Number of intervals that the Upper Limit value should be exceeded before elproMONITOR informs user about the deviation can be entered here

  • Consider logging intervals…
Entering a tick causes invalid values (no connection, sensor failure) to be taken into consideration as a violation of the alarm

  • Interval- Time Span between two exports

  • Data Safety Clearance - The time of data export is delayed by the Data Safety Clearance to allow reloading of non-directly transmitted values

  • Unit - The unit for the Data Safety Clearance

III - Applicable Functions

The following functionalities can be executed here.

Report*

A >> elproMONITOR configuration report with all selected parameters is created.

The number of existing I/O modules, sensors, profiles and program settings determines the size (number of pages) of the configuration report created as *.pdf file.

Add New Profile

The details in the view are replaced by the following parameters for creating a new Export Schedule Task:

Create New Export Schedule Task:

  • Export Schedule Task Name
Name of the Export Schedule Task for saving monitoring data with elproMONITOR. The Export Schedule Task must be provided with a unique name.

  • Data Destination Profile
Allocation of a data destination profile

  • Recipient Profile
    Assignment of the recipient

  • Create Testfile / Send Testfile
Tests the function for the seleckted profiles

  • Interval
The time span between two exports can be selected: hourly, daily, weekly or monthly. At the beginning of the new interval plus a possible data safety clearance, the report is created over the last interval. The beginning and the end of the time window can not be changed. For example, for a monthly interval, it is not possible to choose the time window from mid-month 1 to mid-month 2; It is always from the beginning to the end of the month

  • Data Safety Clearance
The time of data export is delayed by the Data Safety Clearance to allow reloading of non-directly transmitted values (e.g., due to a connection break to the measurement modules)
For example, if a 3-day Data Safety Clearance is set for a scheduled monthly export, the automatic export does not start in the early morning of the first day of a month for the previous month, but 3 days later, this means in the early morning of the 4th day of the new month. Thus, missing values of the previous month can be reloaded during these three days and would thus also be included in the export.

  • Unit
Depending on the selected interval, the unit for the Data Safety Clearance is hours, days or months

  • Sensors
By selecting the sensor from the dropdown menu and adding it, the sensors for the report are defined

  • Sensor Name
    Selected sensors are listed here

  • Remove - Removes the Sensir from the list

  • Digital Inputs
