2. ECOLOG-PRO Modules

The I/O modules (communication modules) are the link between the monitoring software elproMONITOR and the measuring modules. The measuring modules with their sensor and contact inputs record the plant data and alarms are triggered by the digital output modules. The channels of the ECOLOG-PRO modules can only be configured when the associated I/O module is recognized by elproMONITOR. Mixed operation with ECOLOG-NET data logger is possible. Two basic types of I/O modules can be distinguished on the basis of the connection to elproMONITOR:

  • I/O modules directly connected via Ethernet

  • wireless I/O modules connected via a bridge (ECOLOG-PRO RBR)

2.1 Application Notes and Device Data

Power supply unit

Observe the safety and application instructions for the power supply unit. Only operate the device with the supplied power supply unit. An incorrect power supply unit can damage the device. Replace defective or damaged power supply units.

Cleaning

For cleaning, use only a slightly damp cloth and never use thinner, benzine, alcohol or other cleaning agents, as these can damage the housing.
