Communication Module ECOLOG-PRO RBR
1. Communication Module ECOLOG-PRO RBR
ECOLOG-PRO RBR+PSU 868 , Art.No. 802265 / ECOLOG-PRO RBR+PSU 915 , Art.No. 802266
Module
The ECOLOG-PRO RBR module is the link between the wireless measurement modules of the ECOLOG-PRO series and the monitoring software.
The data is transferred to the software via an Ethernet connection (via RJ45 connector) over the Internet
ID number
The ID number corresponds to the host address of the module and the last 6 characters of the MAC address
Status indicator 1; Ethernet status
red; module is active, but not connected to the network
yellow; module is active and connected to the network
green; module is active and connected to the monitoring software
blue; module is active and communicating
Status indicator 2; module activity
green; module is connected to one or more measuring modules
blue; communication with measuring module takes place
Radio connection to the measuring modules
Available in two versions:
868 MHz (Europe)
915 MHz (USA)
Maximum number of measuring modules
The ECOLOG-PRO RBR can connect up to 50 radio measurement modules

1.3 Establish Network Connection
Connect your ECOLOG-PRO RBR to the mains via the supplied power supply unit
1a. As soon as the power is connected, the left LED of the ECOLOG-PRO RBR lights up redConnect the ECOLOG-PRO RBR to the Internet by connecting it to your modem, router or local area network.
2a. As soon as the connection to the network is established, the left LED lights up yellow, indicating that the device is connected to the network
2b. Finally, the left LED lights up green, indicating that the module is connected to the monitoring system.
1.4 Parameterizing the ECOLOG-PRO RBR
elproCLOUD
When the ECOLOG-PRO RBR is connected to the elproCLOUD, it is preconfigured for this connection. If you want to change from DHCP to a specific IP address, subnetmake and default gateway, the ECOLOG-PRO RBR can be parameterized using a web service on the elproCLOUD. >>https://web.elpro.cloud/bridge
The RBR to be parameterized can be selected by the host name (equal to the ID number).
elproMONITOR
If the ECOLOG-PRO RBR is connected to elproMONITOR, then the corresponding connection must be parameterized in the network. The RBR Configuration Tool service tool can be used for this purpose.
Factory settings
Press and hold the factory reset button on the bottom for more than 3 seconds to reset the module's factory settings:
The left LED flashes green three times briefly.
All measuring modules are disconnected.
The communication module is disconnected from the network.
The network settings are reset to the default settings: The module is configured for dynamic IP addresses (DHCP client); host name equals ID number.
