Measuring Module Digital Output - ECOLOG-PRO 4DO (EN)
1.1 Measuring module contact inputs - ECOLOG-PRO 4DO
ECOLOG-PRO 4DO, art. no. 801422
Module
Contact outputs for alarm forwarding
The contact outputs are designed as changeover switches (no / nc)
ID number
The ID number is used to identify the module in elproMONITOR.
Status indicator 1; module activity
green; power supply ok
blue; system bus activity
Status indicator 2; sensor status
Condition | Description |
---|---|
dark | No contact configured |
green | All configured contacts ok |
red | Failure of the external power supply to the alarm indicator. |
System bus
Power supply for the connected measuring modules
Communication with the connected measuring modules
Connecting hook
For a secure connection between the modules, they are fixed at the back with the connecting hook.
1.1 Device data
Feeding
Through internal system bus
Contact output
The contact output is an electronic semiconductor contact
Power supply for the alarm indicator
Terminal 5 of all 4 contacts is connected internally
Mass of the alarm indicator
Terminal 1 and terminal 3 of all 4 contacts are connected internally
External power supply unit for the alarm indicators
12 VDC..24 VDC
Switching current per contact
max. 100 mA
Connection cable lengths
max. 200m
Limit values & time behavior
The contacts are parameterized (limit values and alarm delay times) using elproMONITOR.
Date and time
Internal system clock
The internal system clock is permanently synchronized with the elproMONITOR system time
Scope of delivery
Module
Connecting hooks, see back of module
Info sheet
The plug connectors for the sensor connection are not included in the scope of delivery.
1.2 Contact states
Clamp | Occupancy |
---|---|
1 | GND Contact |
2 | NC (Normally Closed) Contact |
3 | GND Contact |
4 | NO (Normally Open) Contact |
5 | Contact for external power supply |
System start CH 1 - CH4
In this operating state, the normally closed contact and the normally open contact are open. There is no alarm signaling.
Module without power supply CH 2, 3, 4
In this operating state, the normally closed contact and the normally open contact are open. There is no alarm signaling.
Normal operation - no alarm CH 1 - 4
There is no alarm in this operating state.
Normal operation - Alarm CH 1 - 4
An alarm is present in this operating state
System alarm - Module without power supply - Watchdog CH 1
Channel 1 is in the alarm position for:
Failure of the module power supply
Interruption of the connection with the elproMONITOR software These two monitoring functions cannot be deactivated
Configured as an alarm contact in the elproMONITOR software
1.3 Wiring diagram - Local alarm
An alarm is triggered when the contact closes
2 local alarm indicators on contact CH1 and CH3
Clamp | Occupancy |
---|---|
1 | Mass |
2 | - |
3 | Mass |
4 | Closes on alarm / NO |
5 | Power supply for the alarm indicator Only one power supply unit is possible for all alarm outputs! |
1.4 Wiring diagram - alarm forwarding
An alarm is triggered when the contact opens. Wire break monitoring is possible with this connection diagram.
Contact CH1 monitored by building management system
Clamp | Occupancy |
---|---|
1 | Mass |
2 | Opens on alarm / NC |
