elproMONITOR / Deviations (EN)
1. Overview Deviations
The registered limit value violations and alarm messages are documented and acknowledged in the DEVIATIONS. The used limit values and alarm conditions are defined in the settings (see >> elproMONITOR / Settings). Alarms are forwarded by:
SMS
E-mail
ECOLOG-PRO 4DO (see >> Measuring module contact outputs - ECOLOG-PRO 4DO)
Alarm Interface LAN
1.1. User Interface
The Deviations overview is opened by clicking on the menu item "Deviations". The default view is deviations that are "Active or Unacknowledged".
A - Sensor Analysis
Left-clicking on a particular line opens the detailed view of this deviation. >> 1.2. deviations
I - Filter
The criteria listed in this column are used to filter the listed calibrations. The following criteria can be selected:
Filter
all deviations - all recorded error messages are listed.
Active or Unacknowledged - Only active or unacknowledged error messages are listed.
The handling of the error message is defined in the elproMONITOR database. A distinction is made between warnings and alarms. If "MustConfirmAlarms" is activated, an acknowledgement of the error message by the user is required. The acknowledgement of an error message is logged with date, time and user.
The following conditions are documented in the incident list:
Alarm status | Acknowledged | "MustConfirmAlarms" activated | "MustConfirmAlarms" not activated |
Active | Pending | The error message is listed in the incident list
Inactive | The error message is listed in the incident list | The error message is not listed
Active | Date/Time/User | The error message is listed in the incident list
Inactive | The error message is not listed | The error message is not listed
Occurred | Pending | The error message is listed in the incident list
Occurred | Date/Time/User | The error message is not listed | The error message is not listed |
Date filter
The period of the listed calibrations is limited to the specifications of start and to stop time.
Search
Search for a single calibration by specifying the number of the calibration.
Include
Selecting one of these filters inserts only the error messages belonging to the following filters into the incident list:
Sensor alarm - e.g. upper limit, lower limit, digital input alarm
Sensor warning - e.g. upper warning, lower warning
Sensor malfunction - e.g. no connection, sensor malfunction, low battery level
System error - e.g. Critical Device Error, Internal Error (program error with error message)
II - Detail column
This area contains the following information about the deviations in the incident list:
Incident No. - Consecutive incident number. Each error message is assigned a unique number.
Date - date and time of the error message.
Event - classification of the error message. >> elproMONITOR / Monitor / Status
Sensor - name of the sensor >> elproMONITOR / Settings / Device settings
I/O module - name of the I/O module >> elproMONITOR / Settings / Device settings
Alarm status

Depending on the selected overview, different functionalities can be executed here.

Acknowledgement
Deviations can be acknowledged in two different ways that can be set in the database.
Without electronic signature
The error message is confirmed with Acknowledgement. The process can be provided with a comment. If the password function is activated in the elproMONITOR database, the user must complete the process by entering his password. Possible comment templates can be defined in the >> elproMONITOR / settings.
With electronic signature
The database settings define how many users must acknowledge an error message. Until all users have acknowledged the error message, it remains listed in the filter view as Active or Unacknowledged. In the default setting, only one user is required to acknowledge. In the deviations, column Acknowledged, all acknowledgements are listed with date/time stamp and user. A new line is inserted in the list for each acknowledgement.
Comment
Opens a window for documenting the error message. Comment templates can be defined in the >> elproMONITOR / Settings / Comment templates.
Deviation Report
The deviation report contains the measured value graph of the sensor causing the error and the corresponding incident log. The number of incidents determines the size (number of pages) of the deviation report created as a *.pdf file.
1.2. Deviations
Displays the incident log (audit trail) for the current error message.
1.2.1 Applicable functions
Applicable functions
The applicable functions acknowledgement, comment and report are the same as in the overview Deviations >> III - Applicable Functions
Close
Closes the current window and returns to the Deviations overview.
1.2.2 Details Deviations
Active or Unacknowledged or All Deviations
In the left pane of the Deviations details, you can select all the deviations of the selected filtering.
In the incident log, all parameters for the sensor that triggered the error message are listed. These parameters are specified in the >> elproMONITOR / settings.
